How to Get Pets
Pets spawn naturally in the lobby area. When you see one, walk up to it and purchase it with Sheckles. A few things to keep in mind:
- First come, first served - If another player offers more Sheckles, the pet changes direction toward their garden.
- Timer - Each spawned pet has a countdown. If nobody buys it before the timer runs out, it disappears.
- No other way right now - Pets can only be bought with Sheckles in the lobby at launch.
How to Unlock More Pet Slots
By default, you can equip up to 3 pets at a time. Purchase additional slots with Sheckles:
- 200,000 Sheckles - +1 slot (total: 4)
- 1,000,000 Sheckles - +2 slots (total: 5)
These are one-time permanent upgrades.
Best Pets to Get First
With only 3 default slots and a limited budget early on:
- Bunny (20K) - Movement speed helps you run between garden and lobby faster.
- Deer (50K) - 10% faster plant growth means more harvests per hour.
- Bee (1M) - Must-have for guarding your garden overnight.
Later, prioritize Golden Dragonfly and Raccoon. Ice Serpent and Black Dragon are the ultimate defensive pets.
