Some badges require serious dedication. Here are the three toughest ones and how to approach them:
1000ft Plant! (Extreme)
This is the single hardest badge in the game. You need to make a plant grow to 1000 feet tall. Focus on stacking growth multipliers: use a Deer pet for 10% growth speed, prioritize mutations like Rainbow (40x) or Starstruck (50x), and keep your plants well-watered. This badge is a long-term grind — expect it to take days or weeks of consistent play.
Rainbow! (Very Hard)
You need to grow a Rainbow mutation fruit. Rainbow has a 40x sell multiplier and only triggers randomly when a crop reaches maturity. The best strategy is to plant as many crops as possible and harvest often — the more harvest cycles you complete, the more chances you get for a Rainbow mutation. OMG its HUGE! (Extreme)
Obtain a HUGE pet. Hatching a HUGE pet is extremely rare and requires either luck or Sheckles. The most reliable approach is to buy pet eggs repeatedly and hatch them until you get a HUGE. Save up your Sheckles and prioritize the best pets in our tier list that also have HUGE variants.
OG Badge — Limited Time Only
The OG Badge is a special limited-time badge awarded to anyone who plays Grow a Garden 2 within the first week of its launch (June 12–18, 2026). Once this window passes, the badge will no longer be obtainable, making it a true status symbol for early players.
