How to Get Crates

Head to the central marketplace in the lobby, where you will find the Props Shop next to the Seed Shop and Gear Shop. Interact with it to browse the full catalog of crates. Each crate shows its contents and price. Pay the Sheckles, and the crate is yours.

Some crates have unknown prices (marked TBA) — these may become available in future updates or through special events.

Best Crates to Get First

With Grow a Garden 2's nighttime stealing mechanic, some crates are more valuable than others because they help protect your crops. Here are the crates you should prioritize:

  • Fence Crate — Build walls around your garden to block off entry points. The most essential defensive crate.
  • Owner Door Crate — After walling off your garden, add a door that only opens for you. Locks out thieves completely.
  • Bear Trap Crate — Place traps inside your garden to catch players who do manage to get in. Prevents them from escaping with your fruit.
  • Bridge Crate — Useful for connecting different sections of your garden layout, especially if you divide your plot into zones.

For pure decoration, Light Crate and Roleplay Crate offer the most variety and visual appeal for customizing your plot.
