Complete Zone List

Desolate Old (Level 1) — Starter Zone

Your starting area. Also known as the Overrun Village or Silver Village (starter). Farmer Zombies are the main enemy type here. Bob the quest NPC gives you your first weapon and quest. The beginner quest chain ends with a minor boss fight that unlocks the Lobby Hub portal. Key drops: Iron Sword, Antler Bow (starter weapons).

Bone Necropolis (Level 4-10)

The first real farm zone after the tutorial area. Skeletons and bone-themed enemies populate this graveyard-style area. Good early XP and material farming. Wild Blade (Sword) and Bone Bow (Bow) drop here. Recommended curse meter level: 50-75% for efficient farming.

Desolate Wheat (Level 11-12)

A short transitional zone with wheat fields and farm-themed enemies. Knight Blade (KntBlade) drops here — a solid early sword option. Fast clear zone, good for quick XP runs.

Fetid Swamp (Level 15-20)

Also called Fetid Swampland. This is your first major power spike zone. Thorn Ball Bow drops here at Level 16 — the best early bow for most builds. Swamp-themed enemies with poison/curse mechanics. Start practicing curse meter management here.

Bandit (Level 20)

Bandit-themed enemies in a camp/outpost setting. Mid-game zone that transitions you into the harder areas. Decent material drops for blacksmith upgrades. This zone starts introducing tougher enemy types requiring better positioning and curse meter discipline.

Open Mines (Level 27)

Underground mining zone with cave-themed enemies and environmental hazards. Mid-game farming area with access to crafting materials for advanced forging. Both Level 27 zones are the first areas where enemy damage starts scaling noticeably.

Silver Village (Level 27)

A separate higher-level zone — not the same as the starter Silver Village (Desolate Old). Village-themed area with undead or cursed villagers. Offers good mid-game farming alongside Open Mines. Commonly used for XP grinding before pushing into Boulder Hills.

Boulder Hills (Level 33-37)

Rocky highland zone with significantly tougher enemies. Build optimization starts to matter here. Start working toward a 30-point talent capstone before entering. Good source of mid-tier forging materials.

Plague Village / Silver Valley (Level 45-82)

The longest single zone range covering nearly 40 levels. Plague-themed village and valley area with advanced enemy types. You will spend most of your mid-game to late-game grinding here. Abyss dungeon access becomes available around this range. Keep your weapon upgraded every 5-10 levels.

Merchant (Level 83-100)

The final Adventure zone with the hardest enemies in Adventure mode. Prepares you for Hell difficulty. Top-tier Adventure mode drops here. Complete your build before moving to endgame content.

Game Modes Explained

Adventure Mode — Main Progression

The primary game mode with 10 zones spanning Level 1-100. Each zone requires defeating specific enemies and bosses to advance. Adventure mode is where you farm XP, materials, purple Lanterns for race rerolls, and upgrade materials for the blacksmith.

Abyss [Hard] — High-Difficulty Dungeon

Unlocks around Level 45+. Abyss is a high-difficulty dungeon with superior loot and exclusive crafting materials needed for endgame forging. A half-full curse meter in Abyss is roughly as dangerous as a full meter in Adventure.

Hell — Endgame Challenge

The ultimate endgame content in Cursed Blade. Hell mode is the source of rare Lanterns (orange/red, offering better luck) and the best gear in the game. Only attempt Hell with near-perfect gear and an optimized build.

Recommended Progression Path

Optimal zone progression order

The fastest leveling route follows the zone level requirements: Desolate Old (Level 1) → Bone Necropolis (Level 4-10) → Desolate Wheat (Level 11-12) → Fetid Swamp (Level 15-20) → Bandit (Level 20) → Open Mines (Level 27) → Silver Village (Level 27) → Boulder Hills (Level 33-37) → Plague Village / Silver Valley (Level 45-82) → Merchant (Level 83-100).

When to upgrade gear before moving on

Visit the blacksmith after every zone unlock. A weapon at +10 outperforms any raw drop from the same zone. Before entering a new zone for the first time, ensure your weapon upgrade level matches your current level.

When to unlock Abyss [Hard]

Abyss becomes accessible around Level 45. Farm Plague Village / Silver Valley first with a clean curse meter until you have a well-upgraded weapon. Then test Abyss with a clean meter before attempting curse meter push strategies there.

When to attempt Hell

Hell is for Level 90+ characters with fully-upgraded gear, an optimized talent tree, and a good race variant. Do not attempt Hell until you have consistently cleared Merchant zone.

Lobby Hub — Your Central Base

Blacksmith

Upgrade weapons and gear using monster materials. Supports forging (weapon upgrades), reforging (reroll affixes with Divine Stones), and reinforcement (push weapon level higher).

Merchant NPC

Basic equipment and consumables for sale. Avoid low-value merchant purchases early on — materials and currency are better spent at the blacksmith.

Race Shrine / Race Menu

Open the Race Menu to view your current race, spend Lanterns on rerolls, or use Refine to upgrade current race passives without changing race. Save 10-15 Lanterns before committing to reroll sessions.

Zone Portals

Portals to every unlocked Adventure zone. Unlock zones by progressing through the quest chain and meeting level requirements.

Farming Tips by Zone

Best early farm (Level 1-12)

Farm Bone Necropolis (Level 4-10) for early XP and weapon drops. Wild Blade and Bone Bow are good starter weapons. Push the curse meter to 50-75% for bonus loot.

Bow power spike window (Level 15-20)

The most important farming window for bow builds. Farm Fetid Swamp until you get a Thorn Ball Bow drop. This weapon carries you through multiple zones. Pair it with Agility stat investment and Agile tree talents.

Mid-game grind (Level 27-37)

Open Mines and Silver Village (both Level 27) offer parallel farming options. Move to Boulder Hills (33-37) once your gear is at +10 or higher.

Long haul grinding (Level 45-82)

Plague Village / Silver Valley is where you will spend the most time. Upgrade your weapon every 5-10 levels. Start incorporating Abyss [Hard] runs around Level 50-60 for crafting materials.

Endgame preparation (Level 83-100)

Merchant zone is your final Adventure farming area. Optimize your build, save Lanterns, and upgrade all gear to max. After Level 90, test Hell mode with a clean curse meter.
