Boss Types Overview

Normal Field Bosses

These bosses spawn at fixed locations on the main islands (Origin Island through Niflheim). Most respawn in 10–30 seconds after defeat and can be farmed solo. They drop ores, weapon pieces, chests, and some drop reroll items. The boss route follows the island progression: Nameless Hero (Origin) → Moraros (Helheim) → Magador (Muspelheim) → Ragaros (Muspelheim) → Velik (Niflheim 1F) → Nivaron (Niflheim 2F) → Gelaros (Niflheim cave).

Jotunheim Endgame Bosses

After clearing Veyrath, you unlock Jotunheim — a separate region with four bosses: Niflor (ice), Surtrik (fire), Hraegon (storm), and Thorvak (thunder). Each respawns every 45 seconds and drops Sky Keys (100%), Soul Stones (100%), Holy Ore, and all weapon pieces. These are your primary source for Sky Spire entry and Soul Forge upgrades.

Raid Bosses

Raid bosses are summoned at Nidavellir Island by talking to the Demon Summoner NPC. Each of the main island bosses (Moraros through Nivaron) has a Raid version, plus Veyrath who is Raid-only. Raid fights come in Hard and Nightmare difficulties. Hard mode drops Moon Pieces (8%–80%), exclusive accessories, and Boss Coins. Nightmare mode drops powerful Runes (Blizzard, Hell Fire, Shadow Clone, Thunder) at very low rates (0.02%–0.12%).

Eclipse Event Boss: Guts

Guts is a special boss on Eclipse Island with three difficulty tiers: Black Swordsman (Easy), Struggler (Hard), and Mad Dog (Nightmare). He drops Beherit Ore (up to 100% on Nightmare), Sacrifice Pieces, Mythical Chests, and the exclusive Berserker accessory. Guts respawns every 10 minutes and is essential for the Dragon Slayer upgrade route.

Farming Routes & Tips

Early game farming loop (Level 1–200)

Farm Nameless Hero on Origin Island and Moraros on Helheim. Both respawn within 10 seconds and drop basic ores, weapon pieces, and Money. Running the loop between these two bosses with almost zero downtime gives you a strong material base for your first forge upgrades.

Midgame reroll farming (Level 500+)

Once you unlock Nivaron on Niflheim, focus on farming Race Rerolls (96.13% chance). Pair this with Velik for Element Rerolls (84.75%) and Gelaros for Blessing Rerolls (96.29%). These three bosses form the core reroll farming triangle. Bring your strongest bossing build — clear speed matters more than survivability at this stage.

Endgame Jotunheim rotation

Loop the four Jotunheim bosses (Niflor → Surtrik → Hraegon → Thorvak) for Sky Keys and Soul Stones. Each respawns every 45 seconds, and the rotation takes about 5 minutes to complete. After farming 30 Sky Keys, enter Sky Spire to push for Holy Grails and Excalibur materials. This is the most efficient endgame farming path.

Raid boss farming (Nightmare)

Nightmare bosses respawn every 30 minutes and require deep knowledge of the normal fight. Focus on one boss at a time — learn the normal version until you can clear it using half or less of your healing items, then attempt Nightmare. Nightmare Veyrath drops Nightmare Ores for final weapon upgrades. Nightmare Gelaros drops Thunder Rune (0.04% chance).

How do I get Sky Keys for Sky Spire?

Farm any of the four Jotunheim bosses (Niflor, Surtrik, Hraegon, Thorvak) — each drops Sky Keys at a guaranteed 100% rate. You need 30 Sky Keys to enter Sky Spire. Each boss respawns every 45 seconds, making the Jotunheim loop the most efficient Sky Key farm.

How do Nightmare bosses work?
