What Is the Carnival Pass?

  • The Carnival Pass is a tier-based progression system added in Update 5. You earn XP by completing quests, and each level unlocks a reward. There are two parallel tracks: the free track (available to everyone) and the premium track (unlocked with Robux). The premium track gives extra rewards at every level and access to exclusive items like the Popcorn Phoenix pet.
  • The pass is limited-time — it will expire at the end of the Carnival event. Rewards not claimed before expiry may be lost, so claim them before the event ends.
  • In addition to the pass levels, there's a Crate system where you can spend Prize Tickets (earned from quests and events) or Robux to spin for bonus rewards, including exclusive seeds and the Popcorn Phoenix.

How to Earn XP — Quests Explained

  • There are two types of quests that give Carnival Pass XP:
  • Hourly Quests — Reset every hour. Tasks include fertilizing plants, upgrading crops, harvesting, and mutating. Each hourly quest gives 150-250 XP depending on the task difficulty.
  • Daily Quests — Reset every 24 hours. These are bigger tasks (e.g., complete a certain number of harvests, apply mutations X times, earn a target amount of cash). Each daily quest gives 400 XP.
  • Tip: Stack your hourly quests with normal farm activity. Fertilizing and upgrading are things you do anyway — the pass XP is a bonus on top of your regular progress.
  • Both quest types also give Prize Tickets, which are used in the Crate system for bonus rolls (more on that below).

Free vs Premium — What You Get

  • Free Track: All players get access to the free track. Rewards include basic seed packs, Normal/Strong Fertilizer, short Time Skips, Common sprays, and some Carnival Tickets. The free track gives a solid boost but the best rewards are locked behind Premium.
  • Premium Track: Unlocked with a one-time Robux purchase. Premium doubles your reward at each tier — you get the free reward plus the premium reward. Premium-exclusive rewards include: Popcorn Phoenix (Exotic pet, first of its rarity tier), Carnival exclusive seeds (Carnival Seed Pack items), Better sprays (Radioactive, Cosmic), Long Time Skips, Super Pet Treats, and exclusive cosmetics.
  • The Premium pass is a one-time purchase for the whole event — you unlock every premium reward up to your current level when you buy it, even retroactively if you've already leveled up.

Carnival Pass Rewards (by Level)

  • The pass has multiple tiers. Rewards vary by level but follow a pattern: early levels give basic supplies (fertilizer, short time skips, seed packs), mid levels start offering better sprays and longer time skips, and high levels unlock exclusive items like the Popcorn Phoenix and premium sprays.
  • Reward categories include: Seed Packs (Tropical, Carnival), Fertilizers (Normal, Strong, Super), Sprays (Wet, Frozen, Autumn, Void, Radioactive, Rainbow, Cosmic), Time Skips (1-min to 30-min), Pet Treats (Basic, Strong, Super), and the Popcorn Phoenix pet.
  • Note: The exact per-level rewards are still being cataloged by the community as Update 5 is very recent. We will update this table with exact per-level data once comprehensive reports are available.

Is the Premium Pass Worth It?

  • Short answer: If you plan to play actively during the Carnival event and can reach the higher tiers, yes. The Popcorn Phoenix alone is a strong incentive — it's the first Exotic pet in the game, and its ability to apply Strong Pet Treat effects to your entire active pet team makes it a significant power boost. It's also limited-time and may never return.
  • If you're a casual player who won't reach the high tiers, the free track still gives decent value — fertilizer, time skips, and basic sprays will accelerate your early-to-mid game progress without spending Robux.
  • The Premium pass is a one-time purchase for the entire event. Unlike some games where you need to buy tiers individually, here you buy the pass once and earn everything up to whatever level you reach.

The Crate System (Prize Tickets)

  • In addition to the pass levels, there's a Crate tab in the Carnival Pass menu. You can spend Prize Tickets (100 per spin) or Robux (35 per spin) to roll for bonus rewards.
  • Prize Tickets are earned from: completing quests (both hourly and daily), participating in Whack a Crop event, potentially from other Update 5 activities.
  • The Crate pool includes exclusive seeds (Carnival Seed Pack items), Popcorn Phoenix (very rare), premium sprays, and Pet Treats. The odds are weighted — common items drop more frequently, while the Popcorn Phoenix is a rare pull.
  • Strategy: If you're close to earning the Popcorn Phoenix from the pass track itself, don't burn tickets chasing it in the Crate. Use tickets on the Crate for bonus materials and sprays, and treat the Popcorn Phoenix Crate drop as a lucky bonus.

FAQ

How long does the Carnival Pass last?

The Carnival Pass is a limited-time event introduced in Update 5 (June 6, 2026). The exact end date hasn't been announced yet, but event passes in Roblox games typically run for 2-4 weeks. Check the in-game pass menu or the official Discord for the countdown timer.

Can I still claim unclaimed rewards after the pass expires?

Typically no. Unclaimed rewards are lost when the event ends. Make sure you claim everything before the Carnival Pass expires — the game should show a timer in the pass menu.

Check Active Codes

What is the fastest way to get Carnival Tickets?

Combining quests with the Whack a Crop event is the fastest method. Run hourly quests as they come off cooldown, complete your daily quests for the big XP chunks, and play Whack a Crop for bonus Prize Tickets. If you're active, you can gain 2-3 levels per day.

Does the Premium pass give retroactive rewards?

Yes. If you buy the Premium pass after leveling up on the free track, you immediately unlock all premium rewards up to your current level. You don't lose anything by leveling first and buying later.

Is the Popcorn Phoenix guaranteed from the Premium pass?

The Popcorn Phoenix is available through the Premium pass track at higher tiers, and can also be pulled from the Crate system using Prize Tickets. It is not guaranteed at a specific level on the free track — the free track gives other rewards instead. For a guaranteed Popcorn Phoenix, you need the Premium pass.

What are the best quests to focus on for XP?

Daily quests give the most XP per task (400 XP), so priority them when available. Among hourly quests, mutation-related tasks tend to give higher XP (closer to 250), while basic fertilizing tasks give less (around 150). Stack your hourly quests — pick tasks that overlap with what you'd be doing on your farm anyway.
